While I mostly work with JavaScript, Java, and Python, I am also knowledgeable with designing application architecture that scales using both microservice and monolithic patterns and containerization.

Experienced with building deployment pipelines for environments using cloud services. Focused on writing clean and reusable code. Passionate about automation and using natural language processing (NLP) to help solve interesting problems in text and speech.

In my previous life I worked as a truck driver for an ice company to help pay for school, and was later promoted as a distribution supervisor.

Life
I also enjoy many different hobbies, with my favourite being riding motorcycles. I enjoy nature and hiking, photography, hobby programming, board games, playing sports, and solving puzzles. I also enjoy reading, especially classic literature novels and books on ancient civilizations and world history.

On the weekends, I also like to pass the time by helping others and being a part of my community through volunteering at Habitat for Humanity where I help out at the local ReStore.

My passion for helping others has blessed me with a lifelong dream to one day become a police officer in Canada.
